Paris

Ha ha I have gotten to my Paris post! Please enjoy the pics. :)

This is the Eiffel Tower which you all should know. On the right Cambria and I are on the carousol (which she dragged me on to.) I love this picture. We only went to the second landing although I wanted to go to the top.

These two pics are of Notre Dame We went all the way to the top! After that we ate lunch right next to it!

This is my mom at Moulin Rouge! We kind of just got out of the Metro, took our pictures, and left. :)
This is Sacre Coeur! The coolest part was the little shopping and eating area up there. Also we could see Sacre Cur from the Eiffel Tower so it was cool when we got there and could see the Eiffel Tower.

On the left is me on the Eiffel Tower. Before we went up I told my sister that if she didn't behave I'd throw her off the Eiffel tower but, to my dissapointment there was metal squares blocking my way. On the right is me and my sister at dinner. (See doesn't she look crazy, like at any moment she'll go bouncing off the walls?)

On the left is me and my sister by the Mona Lisa which was surprisingly small. On the right is me eating Escargo. It was actually pretty good considering they smothered it in garlic and butter. Yum!

Mont Saint Michael

These are my pictures from Mont Saint Michael. If you didn't see from the post before I am posting parts of my trip to France from last year in different posts.

This is Mont Saint Michael. It is a whole town.
This is my sister on Mont Saint Michael. We rented a room there. It was so amazing. That's why she's in her PJs.
Sorry this pic is sideways. I can't seem to turn them the right way. Anyways this is me in front of Mont Saint Michael at night. My mom and I went out there at night to take some pics.

So this picture is of us at Monet's house which, for those of you who don't know, is not on Mont Saint Michael.

Normandy

So in the next few posts I'll be sharing my journey through France with you. There are so many things to see there! It was really hard narrowing down the pictures but I got the best ones. Just so you know went there during the summer last year.

These two pictures are of the beaches at Normandy. The objects were floated over from England and used like docks. Also while we were there we saw these little brown worm things and, being naturally curious as we humans are, we stepped on one and it just dissolved in to the sand. Now none of us new what they were so of course we Googled them. We found out that they were sand worm "droppings". Yeah...
This is a stained glass picture of a parachuter from World War 2. Surprisingly this was in a church!

Horrible Histories

One of my favourite series of books is the Horrible Histories series. They tell you about different times in history. They also tell you about it in a fun, interesting and gory way. I've really enjoyed all of the books in this series that I have read. I just recently finished Woeful Second World War andVicious Vikings.

Budapest

So this weekend we went to Budapest and WOW. It was so amazing. The baths were my favorite place. They looked very greek and ancient but there were fun things like jets and a waterfall! Also there were mineral baths inside the building. I'll post pictures we took while we were there but for now here's some pictures of the places we went to from google images. NOTE these are not my pictures.

Mark of Athena

Mark of Athena has been released!!! Anyone who loves the Heroes of Olympus books or the Percy Jackson books will LOVE this new book from Rick Riordan. It is part of the Heroes of Olympus series so DON'T read it before you read The Lost Hero (1st book in the series) and The Son of Neptune (2nd book in the series). They are all amazing books that I would highly recomend. Check out my reviews of other books by Rick Riordan by clicking on this link!

True words

"Annabeth's around? There's hope." This is what my dad said after I told him that Annabeth is in the Heroes of Olympus series.
