One of my favorite book series is the Percy Jackson series. It's about a boy named Percy Jackson who finds out that he is a son of Poseidon. He then goes off to Camp Half Blood for kids who are half human and half god. In the first book he journeys across the U.S. to get back Zeus's lightning bolt. Along the way he meets mythical creatures who are not always fun to meet. He makes his journey with a satyr, named Grover, and a daughter of Athena, named Annabeth. The rest of the series consists of other life threatening adventures that he goes on. I would say that It's a 4 and 1/2 star rating out of 5.
